It's become pretty typical for the internet to lose it's collective hive-mind criticizing redesigned logos. I try to do my fair share to mitigate these flurries of vitriol by providing more measured responses drawing on my own experience as a designer, but there are definitely limits to the efficacy of engaging with that kind of conversation.
